I used to think Mukbangers ate on normal tables, until I notices Stephanie Soo seems to be standing in her videos. For me, live streams sounds fun and feels more like talking to a friend. I could ask about the food, the purple light thingy on the shelf, and get a response right away. But I think the main consideration here would be: Since your channel is about creating a peaceful safe space for your audience, would they enjoy the company? Or would they rather sit back & relax, and not worry about keeping up and contributing to the chat? Maybe a middle ground would be "I'm here for you if you want to talk. Equally happy if you just want to watch." I would find it hard to keep going if no one watches my stream, and I'm not very good at talking to a camera without writing down what to say first, so I probably won't be doing a live stream any time soon. Maybe doing a mix of pre-recorded and live (e.g., 1 pre-recorded every week, 1 live stream every month) for a little bit would be a good idea? This way you can keep people who like pre-recorded, and get to test the waters and get feedback for the live stream. Here's a hug and a virtual Agei for you ❤️

I had no idea Stephanie Soo is standing up in her videos 😅But yes, a lot of them (us?) have a particular setup, with a table or a board set up much higher than a regular table, because this way, people can see the food better :) I totally get what you're saying about the livestreams. I struggle with organisation and being consistent, but if I can manage some time, I'm definitely going to setup a few live eating show ! Yes, I love that Idea about "i'm here for you if you want to talk, i'm also here for you if you want to watch".
